Vision, Mission and Goals
St. Margaret’s is unique in the character of her parishioners and in the beauty of the church itself. We have a diversity of talents and opinions that we want to nurture, and many needs both in the church and in the community that we diligently strive to meet. With our strong leadership we continue to build on our strengths and on our uniqueness, and still come together as a family with a common vision.
Based on our church survey, we present our vision, mission and goals for the coming years:
Vision: The vision of St. Margaret’s is a church, a community and a world where all persons are loved and cherished by God and be each other, physically and spiritually; where no person is in want or need of any kind; where the love of a church and community is reflected in all places.
Mission: St. Margaret’s strives to live and grow in the spirit of Christ’s Gospel, to be a church of compassion, love, and caring – for each other and for anyone in need. Through our liturgical worship, education, and all ministries, St. Margaret’s mission it to be an inclusive family: nurturing the young, tending the sick and lonely, reaching out to the poor and disenfranchised in the community and afar, and welcoming into the fold all who come. In this spirit, we can celebrate together the joys of life and our faith in God’s unconditional love and Grace.
Goals:
to grow stronger spiritually
to become more responsive to the pastoral care of the people
to improve communication, fellowship, and sense of family within the church
to strengthen our Christian Education, achieve greater success with our youth ministries and to remain committed to St. Margaret’s Outreach
